The new cases include a 29-year-old Cambodian migrant worker returning from Thailand on April 29, and 387 community cases connected to the Feb. 20 incident.

Hi mods,
Is it possible to have a pinned thread with only maps and their zones here in newsworthy? No discussion, no pics etc...
I know there is one at general chatter/curfew and updates/page 16 and others scattered around this forum.
I kinda like the straightforwardness (like this thread) without weeding through dozens of pages.
And yes I can use the search function, eye no.
Feel free to delete this post whenever deemed necessary.
Thx

22 seconds ago - BREAKING NEWS
Lockdown in Phom Penh and Takhmao to be lifted after May 5

Prime Minister HE announced tonight he will end the lockdown in Phnom Penh and other provinces, but some small areas with a high risk of infections will remain under restrictions.

His announcement was made in response to a Facebook user, asking him about the situation after May 5, a deadline to reopen Phnom Penh and Takhmao City after three weeks of lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“There is no reason to continue to close it. We will reopen provinces or capital. [We] can close small areas where there is a high risk of infections,” he said.
“Ongoing lockdowns are compulsory to reduce the infection and deaths of our people. Please understand a common difficulty faced by the nation,” he added.

This seems optimistic. I'll be impressed if they can actually pull it off:

PM says Phnom Penh and Kandal vaccinations will be done by June

Prime Minister HE announced tonight that the government will complete its COVID-19 vaccine campaign for people in Phnom Penh and Kandal province during May and June.

His announcement was made via a comment on his Facebook page in response to a request from a Facebook user named “Ben KH”, who asked for intervention from Mr HE as he/she had not been vaccinated.

Responding to this comment, Mr HE said: “We will give it to everyone, just some now and some after because our doctors can not do it in a day or a week. We will finish vaccination in Phnom Penh and Kandal in May and June 2021. Now we are concentrating on the Red Zones to get it first.”

He also called on the people of Phnom Penh and Kandal to be patient and wait a little longer, as the government will provide vaccines to all of them.

The Ministry of Defence is currently launching a vaccination campaign for people in the Red Zones in four districts in Phnom Penh, which are high-risk areas, to prevent the seriousness of the spread of COVID-19.

So far more than 1.3 million people have been vaccinated in Cambodia.
