As far as I knew on 17/4/21 the latest Covid-19 cases were found at old market and the market was closed. Unknown if any of the stall holders tested after that were positive.. Now by this listing and official map zones it is in Yellow'

All People In Red Zones To Be Vaccinated Against COVID-19

All people of 18 years old and over living in Red zones, including foreigners, will get inoculations against the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a voice message last night, Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HE ordered to vaccinate all people in Phnom Penh capital and Kandal province – about 3 million people according to him – by beginning with the Red zones to build herd immunity against COVID-19.

The Premier agreed to use the 1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in stock and the 400,000 doses of China-donated Sinopharm vaccine, which will arrive in Cambodia tonight, for the inoculation.

COVID-19 Zoning To Be Reevaluated In A Week

The COVID-19 zoning – Red, Dark Yellow, and Yellow zones – will be reevaluated in seven days, underlined H.E. Nuon Pharoth, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, at a press conference on the continued lockdown of Phnom Penh capital and Takhmao town of Kandal province this morning.

If the COVID-19 transmission is under control, the Red zones will be changed to Dark Yellow, and at the same time, the Yellow zones will turn to Dark Yellow or Red if people in those areas fail to carry out the administrative measures against COVID-19 spread, he said.

“Large-scale” COVID-19 vaccination campaign for Red Zones will start May 1st


The Government has announced that the “Large-scale” COVID-19 vaccination campaign for Phnom Penh’s “Red Zones” will start May 1st and be administered by the Defence Ministry.

This campaign is in response to Prime Minister HE’s instructions to institute a large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

In order for the upcoming large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign to be successful as planned, His Excellency General Ith Sarath, Deputy Commander-in-Chief and Joint Chief of Staff of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, has requested cooperation from 3 relevant ministries and institutions:

1- Each district authority to quote the specific number of people living in the local area.

2-Each district authority to ask it’s citizens to come and get vaccinated at designated locations

3. In cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, to call on workers in the four districts to get vaccinated at designated locations.

400,000 More Doses of China-donated Sinopharm Arrive in Cambodia Tonight[ie. last night]
AKP Phnom Penh, April 28, 2021 --

Some 400,000 more doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine donated by China arrived in Cambodia tonight in contribution to supporting the Kingdom’s efforts in combating the pandemic.

H.E. Mrs. Yuok Sambath, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health welcomed the vaccine's arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport.

With the new batch, China provided a total of 1.7 million doses of Sinopharm to Cambodia.

Cambodia has so far bought 2 million doses of Sinovac from China, and received 324,000 doses of AstraZeneca/SII (COVISHIELD) via COVAX Facility. Some 1.3 million people, both militaries and civilians, have been already vaccinated against the COVID-19.
