Over 1,000 litres of fake alcohol seized in three provinces

The 630 litres of counterfeit alcohol were confiscated from retailers and consumers in Memot and Ponhea Krek district while 470 litres of counterfeit alcohol also found in Kampong Speu and Prey Veng Provinces.

On April 27, Tbong Khmum province officials inspected the quality of alcohol in Memot and Ponhea Krek districts, taking 11 alcohol samples to test the quality.

After testing, the official detected and confiscated 630 litres of counterfeit alcohol for further processing.

On April 26, officials on duty in three provinces such as Kampong Speu, Prey Veng and Oddar Meanchey, inspected the quality and price of goods in the markets in their area.

As a result, officials found 470 litres of counterfeit alcohol in Kampong Speu 20 liters and in Prey Veng 450 litres.

I drank some fake alcohol once. It tasted disgusting and I almost choked on it. Something called 'water' apparently...

Should be seized anyway if real. There is an alcohol ban.
