Does anyone know any guesthouse here for $5?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I can't be bothered carting in an elevator - could I just pay a few extra bucks?

I'm not sure, whichever part of his bill got wet and thus was left unpaid.

In civilized countries you can't collect on bills that don't exist, for obvious reasons.

No, of course not. Civilized people acknowledge the debt anyway. #JustSaying

I don't know, but shouldn't he? He knows how many nights be stayed and he knows how much the room costs per night. Multiply the two and that is the total he owes. Subtract what he paid and you get the remaining debt.

Actually, I was assuming they lost his "food and beverages" bill.

I've had that happen at the beach a few times and they've ALWAYS made up a majorly discounted price I was more than happy with.

I always thought it fair, as they are the ones that list it and have no idea what I owe, which they were supposed to be tracking.
