162 Troops Used in Kampong Cham Prison Transfer

Cambodia News, (Kampong Cham Province): Following the orders of His Excellency the Governor of Kampong Cham, on April 23, 2021, Major General Police Commissioner, Em Kosal, deployed 162 troops, including provincial forces and district police inspectors, in order to transfer prisoners from Tbong Khmum to Kampong Cham province.

According to the report, 1,177 prisoners, including 67 women were to be transported from the old location in Toul Vihear village Chiro II Commune, Tbong Khmum District, Tbong Khmum Province to the new location in Phkay Preuk Village, Mean Commune, Prey Chhor District, Kampong Cham Province. The transfer by bus was due to start at 6:00 a.m., and was successfully completed at 17:25 pm.
