flooding I can understand but tsunami - not a rarity?

I do wonder of any of these website operators have even visited Cambodia.

They never mention the $100 bill switcheroo scam in massage parlours, nor even the perennial rumour of ATM's passing out fake $100's (to people who then go into said massage parlours shortly afterwards).

They never mention that any tears in any US$ notes will lead to it being rejected (the scam is someone gave it to you in the first place) so make sure any $'s brought with you are mint condition.

They never mention even if you don't like your meal, or it looks nothing like the picture, you will not a get a refund from any Khmer - this is not the US/UK etc where they are terrified of a bad review.

The same applies for buying meat or purportedly fresh products in a supermarket that is off when you open it at home - tough titty. Same goes with all shoddy goods sold - you are on your own.

There is probably a decent list of 10 tips that would be very useful to visitors, borne out of gritty experience. But the never ask any expats for the advice, these websites never reveal how they obtain their so called knowledge. I suspect they just plagiarise from other publications.
