Thanks for this excellent post. Is there any similar advice you can offer for buying property, in particular condo's?

Don't, as they're overpriced..?
Property values in PP are well into the bubble stages and the investment, unless you find a steal, is probably a bad idea.

Sorry Vlad, but clicking on your post does nothing. Or do you mean simply clicking it open, adds to points.

Click on the green Karma + button under my avatar, I think that's how it works

Vlad, genuine question, are you interested in helping us find new accommodation for a modest fee, and we can post back here on the experience?

Hi Stroppy,
May be interested.
What area? What do you want? Finders normally get 1 month's rent...I don't know if you want to give that much, no problem if you don't.
Give me more details, and we can talk

Thanks for taking the time. I will print this out for use, and post a link when we get asked about rent in Cambo on other forums. It's getting more popular with young internet earners, because of the visa issues in Thailand.vladimir wrote:
A plastic slush-bucket is usually more effective for ice than even an expensive refrigerator.
What's a slush bucket, and why is it better than a fridge?
I can't give karma yet. I think it's 15 posts before you see the + option.
