NKOTB & his Khmer Missus adventures in Texas

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Jeez! Someone seriously needs to get a life. You're like an overzealous volunteer policeman.

Good idea. But can us mere mortals change the title of an existing thread?
I don't think so. We need someone special to do it.

Found it at the supermarket. Live.
$40 USD / kilo. Fortunately this guy was only about 500 grams or so.

He tried to escape through the sink drain. No dice.

The wonder girl turned it into her first lobster bake. Simply boiled. Garnished with two dipping sauces, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, and of course rice and rice noodles.

Jesus dude, tail end of lobster season but that sounds super pricey. We had a lobster fest last time I went back with my lady, but I recall it being way cheaper than $40/KG. Like half that price? Or did you mean price in lbs? Maybe shipping to TX?

Missus completely surprised me on my birthday.

She had fruit decorated a birthday day cake for me, had a bouquet of roses, and made a rose petal spread on the bed.

Just got home from work.

Followed up with an amazing seafood steam bake.
Lobster tail, clams, octopus, shrimp, and blackened tilapia filets.

Even the family a had birthday cake for me.

Here they are all with enjoying cake.

Best birthday ever! I’m so pampered and spoiled.

Well it looks like you at least have some space up there. What's up with your house though, is it so full of prepper packs that you have no space left to live? Have you got a bunker there? In Switzerland everyone has a bunker.

We currently live in a dog house. No basements in this part of Texas, plus the homeowners association frowns on them, just like building an earthen berm in the back for firearms practice. Construction supervisor just got the official start order this week for the real (forever) house.
