Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

He graduated West Point with a Bachelors degree in economics, he then went on the complete a Masters degree at New York University in economics, and then went to the University of Bristol in the U.K. to complete a PhD in....economics.

Just the man to take charge of a viral pandemic. I just hope he keeps a close eye on the economy at the same time.
yes, I'm quite acquainted, with that biography
my point is that he wouldn't be handed a basket case

even if the outbreak cannot be completely contained now
it should be a good opportunity to display best practice

A friend was outside Shenanigans yesterday where they were handing out food parcels nearby. A large shiny Toyota Highlander pulled up and a woman got out and collected some of the freebies and got back in her truck and it drove away.

I have no reason to doubt him, but I wish he had filmed it.

The curfew did not stop Black Friday. The indoor trading ban of food and booze won't stop transmission. What does everyone think will be their next move?

From the Khmer Times

Sources, usually reliable have told Khmer Times that more extreme measures are being mulled over by authorities with the main consideration being the negative impacts on the economy which had already take a devastating blow.

How would you think that measure would be imposed, would it be done on the spot, or would there be some warning. I could see complications that people would not have food to last too long.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
