Blast from the past 1988

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

That Margaret Thatcher would on national TV say that there were good and bad factions within the Khmer Rouge. This was someone who refused to recognize the parallel disaster that was happening in the UK at the time.

It's called human nature and reality, with a touch of geopolitics. Black and white is for photography.

No, sod that. The Khmer Rouge were genocidal assholes and there's no way that anyone in a position of power didn't know what they were a member of. If that view makes me unsophisticated then that's something I'm willing to live with.

I liked the interviewer's reaction. Like how awful do you have to be that Blue Peter are going full Paxman on you.

You are aware that a large portion of government and powerful business people served in the KR.

Says a lot about the care factor for the common people against lining of the pockets..............sorry the investment genius of the wives.
