Personally, I would wait for one more "LAST PRICE."

Today's last price is only 50% of the last price from 4 days ago.

To be honest that doesn't seem bad for a bar ready to go, if it has ALL the equipment - glasses, bar accessories, towels, etc. But it's the deadly quiet season there now...

Agreed. Any lower and they're barely getting enough to cover their deposit and last months rent.

it is a good price, and one you could probably negotiate another 500 off of. but... victory had a bit of a shit high season this year, so buyer beware. not trying to warn anyone off of it at all, and i think next year could very well be better (especially with some good collaborative marketing among the businesses there to drive a crowd up there) next high season.

low season is the perfect time to buy a bar... feel what it's going to be like at it's worst so you're prepared, and it gives you time to sort out the little details without a crowd of people watching.

i have actually no idea where that particular bar even is on the hill, which would be something you'd also want to verify. walking traffic is pretty much restricted to one or two streets.

Alright, you looking for a business partner GMac?

Only problem I see from the pics is no customers, and that would be because there are no girls, but I know a man with your charm would solve that dilemma in no time flat.

From what I have seen in S'ville, the Russian bar owners failed miserably at marketing to the tourists. When I walked by a few of the obvious Russian owned places, it seemed like they were only visited by other Russians. To me, the Russian there had more of a "This is OUR clubhouse" vibe. I think the very first bar as you make the common "left turn" to start walking down Ocheteal (spelling) is Russian Owned. but even durring Khmer New year, had only a few other Russians hanging out there.

I have been to Sihanoukville about 5 times in my life but don't think I ever made it into town or this Victory hill. It was mainly Ochheteal beach and then a ride out to Otres some days.
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...
