Dealing with trolls

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I was told by parents in no uncertain terms when I went to school IF I failed I would die in the streets.

Cultural ‘You Bring Honor to Us All’, and if not, ‘ain’t part of the family anymore.

Some bandy about the label of ‘Troll’ to anything they don’t like. Just like BLM. If there is truly something offensive, use the ‘report’ option to flag it to the mods.

Sorry to revive a derailed thread about nothing interesting.

My thoughts are my own.
You could have done with a few years on the streets. Builds character. 8)
Silence, exile, and cunning.

I think that was the problem. Not enough adults and too many shit-stirrers with nothing else to do.
Therein lies the entire problem AM. 👍
yeah plus you had certain posters (trolls) who prided themselves with their negative karma and encouraged them to troll more
Yes, and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Mods generally are pretty good at weeding them out. Sometimes we have to deal with a day or two of bullshit but it gets cleared out in the end.

Just another necro thread.
I hope this forum will focus increasingly on the region rather than some of the directions it has headed lately.
