American and Chinese Man Sent to Battambang Immigration

Cambodia News (Battambang): On March 26, 2021, Lieutenant Danh Engbunchan sent two foreigners to the General Immigration Department. The two foreigners are named CHRISTOPHER JAMES DONEGAN, a 51-year-old American man, and JIN TAISHAN, a 47-year-old Chinese man.

On March 25, 2021, the police received two Americans, CHRISTOPHER JAMES DONEGAN, a 51-year-old man, and LUKE DANIEL GEORGE, a 43-year-old man, from the Sangke quarantine center, as well as JIN TAISHAN, a 47-year-old Chinese man staying in Battambang prison.

The visas of one of the Americans, CHRISTOPHER JAMES DONEGAN, and the Chinese man, JIN TAISHAN, have expired, so they were sent to the immigration department to follow the procedure. The other American, whose immigration documents are in order, was sent back home.

Says the Americans were in quarantine;

the police received two Americans,...from the Sangke quarantine center,

, so it is possible that the police were holding their passports while they were locked up.

Most probably they have traveled into Battambang from another province and required to do quarantine and got busted for having expired visa.
