lol yaba is common and that's around a dollar a hit. UN reports said bulk meth in the golden triangle is around 1.5k USD and not that much more on the streets in southeast asia.

That article is from 2009 and quite dated. As far as I know most ecstasy sold now is entirely synthesized from chemical components, this article from 2015 seems to support that:

Meth is nothing new, it was sold as Crank by Hell's Angels 50 years ago, it was popular in Eastern Europe 25 years ago. Pervatine Nazi marching powder, nasty stuff. It seems to have caught on a lot in SE Asia, and the US has a big problem with it. I know it's available in Europe but somehow hasn't become as popular as other substances like cocaine, crack or heroin.
