Well your article is a few years old now, it quotes these prices -KTabi wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 1:46 amlol yaba is common and that's around a dollar a hit. UN reports said bulk meth in the golden triangle is around 1.5k USD and not that much more on the streets in southeast asia.John Bingham wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 1:39 amI have no idea how much it costs here per deal or in bulk but I'd imagine a gram could easily cost $80. Maybe fsdssdds can chime in and tell us how much it costs roughly?![]()

The wholesale price of a kilo of crystal meth produced in northeastern Myanmar is as little as $1,800, according to a UNODC report citing the China National Narcotics Control Commission. Average retail prices for crystal meth, according to the UN agency, are equivalent to $70,500 per kilo in Thailand, $298,000 per kilo in Australia and $588,000 in Japan. For the Japanese market, that’s more than a three-hundred-fold mark-up.

Re: Crystal Meth: Global Pandemic and Kids at Risk
that incredible margin ex Myanmar/ex works is responsible for meth reaching even the furthest corner of the world. Loads of money available to pay for bribes, mules and the final distribution to consumers. Evrybody is paid off for the risk he takes and makes a nice cut...thats what makes that ugly stuff go round.AndyKK wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 7:29 amWell your article is a few years old now, it quotes these prices -KTabi wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 1:46 amlol yaba is common and that's around a dollar a hit. Fentanyl and Meth are chemical weapons from the CCP against the West.
They justify it by saying "we" did it to them with Opium.
Beats me how the actions of those long dead can be revenged on their descendants as a matter of state policy.

Cambodia has always been known has the wheel hub between the neighbouring countries, in effect the distribution centre from years past, with the opium trade again from the golden triangle, then they stumbled upon their own commodity, the oil from Sassafras tree, the key ingredient for MDMA more widely known as a street drug called "ecstasy."phuketrichard wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 8:45 pmLOL<

Now the new drug hits the scene, it's just a continuous illegal circle, when one drug loses favour, trend or even political moves it's soon replaced by some other form. It's policed around the world with the aim to stop the trade, and the dealers are still selling on the worlds streets.
Today seems to be the turn of the madness drug (meth). It's price? Set by what people are willing to pay, it's a market and sometimes a trade war. Hong Kong per kilo $80.000 Cambodia as little has $3.000 per kilo.

That article is from 2009 and quite dated. As far as I know most ecstasy sold now is entirely synthesized from chemical components, this article from 2015 seems to support that:AndyKK wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 10:09 pmCambodia has always been known has the wheel hub between the neighbouring countries, in effect the distribution centre from years past, with the opium trade again from the golden triangle, then they stumbled upon their own commodity, the oil from Sassafras tree, the key ingredient for MDMA more widely known as a street drug called "ecstasy."phuketrichard wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 8:45 pmLOL<

Meth is nothing new, it was sold as Crank by Hell's Angels 50 years ago, it was popular in Eastern Europe 25 years ago. Pervatine Nazi marching powder, nasty stuff. It seems to have caught on a lot in SE Asia, and the US has a big problem with it. I know it's available in Europe but somehow hasn't become as popular as other substances like cocaine, crack or heroin. Now the new drug hits the scene, it's just a continuous illegal circle, when one drug loses favour, trend or even political moves it's soon replaced by some other form. Of course the article on the oil from Sassafras tree, is dated, because that was the time it was being used. Most oil actually ended up in labs in Canada.John Bingham wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 10:41 pmThat article is from 2009 and quite dated. Re: Crystal Meth: Global Pandemic and Kids at Risk
Global pandemic ? When I was a teenage mod in the 60s we used to take tablets to dance all night in the clubs in soho, french blues or, "skf blues" to be precise, (drinamyl) it was all over the newspapers "our kids are being destroyed. Then into the 70s LSD was destroying the kids along with hash and weed. The 80s had a heroin phase and then into the 90s MDMA came along with ketamine and many other designer drugs. They all caused panic. I expect this too will pass.
