New law on face mask in public ?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Contesting the mandatory face mask law by citing or invoking civil or human rights drivel won't work. Don't do it. You'll be nationally famous overnight.
Kevinitis / Karenitis, didn't heard that before but yeah, the plague

Cambodia News, Battambang Province: Battambang Provincial Police arrested a man who posted on his account that the traffic police officers in Battambang were fining motorcyclists and passengers who do not wear a mask. Related to this case, Battambang Provincial Police calls on users of social media to please use social media responsibly.

In fact, on March 19, 2021, the owner of the Facebook account, Jai Ching, wrote and posted that if you are riding a motorcycle without a mask you will be stopped by police and fined. This posting to his account immediately sparked direct criticism of the road traffic police by some social media users who have not yet received a clear source of information.

Riel information from Battambang police:
According to the order of Major General Sat Kimsan, Commissioner of Battambang Provincial Police, on March 20, 2021, the police authorities searched for the above account holder and took him for questioning, and finally they learnt that the account holder's name is Tang Jai Ching, male, 29 years old, living in Wat Tamu commune Sangke District, Battambang Province. The man has admitted that what he posted on his Facebook account on March 19, 2021 was not a true personal experience, but was only hearsay. As a result, he said that he has already deleted the content from his Facebook account. (And will never do it again.)

Running a Starbucks for a few years back, I can tell you this aint nothing. You (the general public) are a load of entitled, opinionated, humourless, rude twats. Or at least when dealing with the 'lower classes' in the retail / hospo businesses.

I see everybody wearing masks riding around in town , I got my mask ready in the top shirt pocket to put on when necessary, but I always stay 6 foots away form any other moto riders , like my helmet hanging on the handlebars by the strap waiting in case I come to a checkpoint .

Mine is under the seat in case I have to go to a shop/confined space.

Can't wear both a mask and my full face without feeling like I'm severing my ears every time it goes on, or breaking the elastic
