High School Students Victims of Mass Fainting Fit
Cambodia News,(Banteay Meanchey Province): About 20 students fainted in a row on March 17, 2021 at Phnom Thom High School, Mongkul Borei District.
Mr. Rath Dasinang, Governor of Mongkul Borei District, said that at about 9:30 am, there were a series of students fainting at Phnom Thom High School, causing surprise to students as well as teachers. Ambulances were called to take the fainting students to hospital and private clinics.
School authorities said that the reason for the students fainting was the very hot weather and not enough ventilation in the classroom. By 12 noon, most of the patients had recovered and returned home. The remaining students were expected to be released in the afternoon.
