Gang Steal Motorbike from Woman in Accident

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On March 15, 2021, at 2:20 am, on the street 371, Sangkat Tumnop Tuek2, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, a woman had a motorbike accident. Suddenly, the suspect and his gang pretended to help the woman, but they stole her motorbike and tried to escape.

A 25-year-old woman, Kong Panha, said she was driving her motorbike, plate PP1-IL-6857, on the street 371, when she hit a pothole in the road, causing her motorbike to fall over. All of a sudden, the suspect got out of a tuk-tuk and came to help her. After that, he stole her motorbike and ran away.
The womantracked her motorbike through the GPS and saw the suspect was selling her motorbike at Kleang Rumsev market. The suspect was detained and the police were called.

The police went to the scene and arrested the thief and assisted the victim to file a complaint.
