Local People Stop Military Officer from Doing a Runner

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): A military officer, who was suspected of being drunk, drove a CRV car and hit a house. He tried to escape, but the local people stopped him, on street 3C, Sangkat Stueng Meanchey, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

The source said that a man who is a military officer, drove a CRV car, plate PP2H-3920, on the concrete road from west to east, until the car hit the wall of a house causing some damage. The car driver tried to escape from the accident scene, but he was stopped by the local people. The officer then became agressive and tried to attack a reporter at the scene.

The police went to the scene for questioning. The car driver with his car went to the police station.
