Cambodia News (Prey Veng): On March 14, 2021, at 11 pm, a 32-year-old man, Hom Hun, was arrested for attacking his neighbor in the Kanh Chreav district Prey Veng. The police confiscated a knife and a slingshot. The victim, identified as Nim Van, a 48-year-old man, got 3 injuries, on and under the left eye, and on the hand. The victim was taken to get treatment at the hospital.

The suspect went to the victim's house and was asked to leave. Suddenly, the suspect attacked the victim with a slingshot and a knife.
The victim cried out and local people came running to help the victim, and they beat up the suspect, causing him to get injured.
The reason given for the outburst of violence is that the suspect and the victim hate each other, and they have hated each other for a long time.

The suspect was detained at Kanh Chreav police station following the legal procedure.

I'd almost think it'd be easier to just move to a new place, than to assault one's neighbor and surrender one's freedom to the justice system.

But then again, anger is temporary insanity. Not much logic goes into choices like that.
