Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A young man was arrested by the landlord and a neighbor and handed over to the police after he tried to rape his fiancée's sister, but failed because she bit his tongue and screamed in surprise.

The suspect, Pech Ly Khim, 20, a factory worker, and the 21-year-old victim were staying in the same room, in Khan Por Sen Chey, when the victim's sister left for work at 8:30 am on March 14, 2021.
The suspect and the victim's sister were engaged to each other and had been staying in a rented room together for some time with the other woman. Onthe morning of the incident, while the victim was sleeping, the suspect closed and locked the door; he then began to hug and kiss the victim and put his hands on her breasts and genitals. He was sucking on her mouth when she bit the attacker sharply on the tongue, causing him to bleed. She screamed out loudly and escaped to unlock the door.

The woman told the neighbors that the suspect had tried to rape her, so the neighbors and the landlord detained the suspect and handed him over to the police for questioning and legal action.
