Moving Cambodian returnees from Thailand to Siem Reap
Moving Cambodian returnees from Thailand to Siem Reap
10 army transport vehicles drove into Siem Reap this afternoon loaded with Cambodians that came back from Thailand. They have been put in an old (unused) school building next to a temple down along the river. They had a police escort and a lot of cars where at the temple (which is not usual). What is somewhat strange is that the unused school building is basically next to the new school building.
The police forced the street vendors to move from their usual spot along the river road to the rear entrance to the school and I think they've been forcing everyone coming to pick up children to use the rear entrance also. We'll see how long the heavy police presence lasts.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
