Teenager Reported Missing from Kampong Speu for 10 Days
Cambodia News, (Kampong Speu Province) : A young female factory worker has disappeared without reason, and her sister suspects that she may have been abducted and possibly held prisoner. The 16-year-old has been missing since February 27, 2021, when she left her factory job to return home.
This young woman named Oeun Tola, 16 years old, has not been seen since then. Her father, Oeun Rom, and mother, Prum In, live in Keo Udom village, Trapeang Kong commune in Kampong Speu province. Now she has been missing for 10 days, so her sister filed a report with police on 10 March.
The girl's parents are worried sick because their daughter had nowhere to stay, unless she went away with this boy and he is keeping her locked up somewhere.
If anyone has news of either of these two people, please telephone (0976917248).When the girl left home she was wearing a black shirt.

Can only hope she is found & is ok
In the UK, teens are often reported missing after just a few hours, waiting 10 days to tell the police she's missing & hasn't been found in the meantime is very worrying

Re: Teenager Reported Missing from Kampong Speu for 10 Days
I wonder if the family didn't want to make a fuss because they suspected that the girl had run off with this boy that they didn't approve of, but now it's been 10 days with no news from her and they are starting to freak out.
The report is strangely worded, but that could be because the family didn't want to say straight out that their 16 year old daughter had ran away with a boy. (And would also explain why her disappearance wasn't reported sooner.)
I hope she's safe and sound. That guy doesn't look like a reliable type.
