Haha 🤣
So it's funny to hit a foreign guest who is visiting the country. Hit! We don't see here, was it a slap or a hard hit, and what of the foreigner, being on a bicycle, and having that happen could have caused him to have an accident and some other bystander, if being assaulted wasn't enough. It would have also be deemed has racist from the country I come from.
So what was the outcome? I must say the police worked very fast.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

". . . the motorbike plate was 1KH-2418"

If that's true, then they've arrested the wrong guys!

To quote a Cambodian policeman from many years ago, after an incident with a Westerner...."It's always the foreigners fault, because if he had never come to Cambodia, the incident wouldn't have happened."

I'm glad to see that line of thinking going away.

^^^ Well spotted Clutch!
I knew there was something wrong. It doesn't look like Phnom Penh at all.
HK - Hong Kong.
It's just a clip from an old Charlie Chan action movie...

No modern Khmer youth would ever disrespect an elder by touching them on the head like that
especially a Barang - we are revered almost like Gods here.

^^^ The old Switcharoo

I once saw a whole studio audience fail to spot a man dressed in a gorilla suit walk through a group of people on a crowded dance floor - with a simple distraction and by manipulating peoples visual expectations.

The MC was not an illusionist. He was a scientist simply using some animal-behaviour basics.

Anything to get some new followers on TikTok. I think for a lot of young people, their social media following equals their self-worth.

Probably the same for some of our buddies on CEO too.
