Re: February 20, 2021, Covid Community Outbreak (Koh Pich and Beyond)
Very worrying! Up to 63 locations closed in connection with the "February 20" community event, while Naga 2 is also closed
February 24, 2021
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): As of the evening of February 24, 2021, the Phnom Penh Administration has found 62 locations related to the "February 20 Community" event.
With the increase in the number of relevant locations, the Governor of Phnom Penh, Mr. Khuong Sreng, through the media, appealed to those who have recently visited these 62 locations to contact 115 or phone number 012 825 424 or 012 488 981 or 012 836 868 to come and test for Covid 19 and do the right thing.
Please be informed that the Ministry of Health has appealed and reminded all citizens throughout the country, and especially those living in Phnom Penh and Kandal Province to be vigilant, always manage their families well, and participate in the implementation of preventive measures.

Is this Club Love? If so, that's getting a lot closer to our barang hangouts. Plenty of the staff on Riverside end up in there after work.

NO, it’s not. It’s been listed a few days now and I initially thought it was Club Love but the location doesn’t match. They also issued a statement:

Last three days the newly identified cases have numbered: 25, 40 and now 65. That's not great.

Are those testing positive (aside from the imported arrival cases) coming primarily from the 1,501 quarantined, or from the non-quarantined community?timmydownawell wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 12:07 pm Last three days the newly identified cases have numbered: 25, 40 and now 65. That's not great.

195 now, up 58 from yesterday + 6 imported cases.
That includes 6 positives arriving from China. Funny that, I thought they were all tested prior to travel.
Looking at the nationalities, it's now out of the Chinese community and getting about a bit.
I wonder how many hospital beds they have available here? They currently have 217 patients in there isolation units and that number is set to grow. I think we might be about to find out.
