Body of Koh Rong Fisherman Found

Cambodia News, (Koh Rong): Authorities say a fisherman died after falling from the boat at 6.30 am on February 21, 2021, at sea offshore from Royal Sands Hotel, on Koh Rong island. Officials say that after he fell, the victim was missing until around 1 pm, when the corpse was found near grandma Mao village, Koh Rong district.

The victim was a 49-year-old fisherman from Kampot province. According to the other men on the boat, the deceased slipped as he was casting a net from the back of the boat during rough seas.

The body of drowned man has been transported to the boat to the main land, Sangkat number 1, Sihanoukville for the technical police to conduct an examination.RIP.
