Cambodia News, (Stung Treng): A man was arrested by the police force of Sekong commune, Siem Pang district and sent to the district police inspector in connection with a case of violence against his wife. They also confiscated a recycled weapon at 8:30 a.m. on February 20, 2021.

Sekong commune police confirmed that the arrested man was 59-year-old Mao Thi, a resident of Lun Treuy village, east of Sekong River, Sekong commune, Siam district. Pang. His wife is 30-years-old.

At 23:00 on February 19, there was a case of violence between the couple and the wife then lodged a complaint with the Sekong commune police station, who arrested her husband on the morning of February 20. The case will be sent to the Siem Pang District Police Inspectorate and then to the Provincial Police Commission.

According to the police statement, after detaining the husband in the case of violence, they also confiscated an original (homemade) weapon and an electric shock device for killing fish.
