Man Arrested for Drunken Violence at Wedding

Cambodia News (Pursat): On February 18, 2021, at 9:40 pm, the police arrested a man who caused violence at a wedding party being held at the house of a 57-year-old man, Hem Houn, in Trach Kral village, Bakan district, Pursat.

Before the incident, Hem Houn had a wedding party for his children. The suspect, Lach Lay, 27 years old, and the victim, Doth Nem, 20 years old, attended the wedding party. Both men were drunk, and they got into an arument, which turned into a fight. The suspect beat the victim on the face, and his family sent him to the hospital.

The police arrested the suspect and sent him to the police station for questioning following the legal procedure.
