PassApp Driver Holds Up Woman Customer
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On February 7, 2021, at 10:10 pm, on R6 road, in a quiet spot near the railway line in Sangkat Sras Chok, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, a woman was victim of a hold-up by a PassApp tuk-tuk driver.
Before the incident, the victim left work in Chbar Ampov area, so she called a PassApp tuk-tuk to go to her auntie's house located behind Calmette hospital. The suspect stopped the tuk-tuk on the road, and then pointed a knife at the woman, demanding that she hand over all her belongings. She gave him everything she had, including US$210 in cash, then he kicked her out of the tuk-tuk and drove off.
The police came to the scene and took the victim to Sras Chok police station to file a complaint against the suspect.
