Black Smoke Pours From Chinese Warehouse on Fire

Cambodia news, (Phnom Penh): A fire broke out at a warehouse where raw materials containing alcohol, gasoline and other materials were stored, causing a surprise at 8:40 am on February 6, 2021. The warehouse is rented to some Chinese people and is located along the railway line in Trang Ta Banh village, Sangkat Pleung Cheh Roret, Khan Kampoul, Phnom Penh.

According to the people living nearby, on the morning of the incident, they heard the sound of an explosion which came from the warehouse, and then they saw flames and black clouds of smoke coming out of the building more and more, so they reported this to the authorities to come and help.

During the operation, several fire trucks intervened to put out the fire, and it took about two hours for the fire to be brought under control and extinguished completely. Nobody was hurt in the incident.

Fortunately, no trains were passing at the time.
