Wedding Guests in Massive Brawl

Cambodia News, (Kampong Cham Province): On the night February 1, 2021 a wedding party turned into a massive brawl at Toul Kvav village, Boeng Nay commune, Prey Chhor district, and the police were called to intervene.

As is often the case at wedding parties, the trouble started because of friction between the guests of the groom and those of the bride. In this particular case, at around 9pm that evening, after dancing and drinking, there was a scuffle which turned into a full-on brawl as the two sides hurled wine glasses and plastic chairs at each other.

A number of young men were smashed in the head by glasses and other flying objects and needed to receive medical treatment. The police took four of wedding party off to the station.

Got to feel sorry for the bride, this must be a bad omen or Karma or wedding ghosts whatever.

Chances are the groom was right in the thick of it.

Well I find these stories highly entertaining, and I hope the guests did too. Wine glasses, plastic chairs, and other flying objects causing injuries though? I'm disappointed that meat cleavers weren't being hurled!
