Expat PAMELA SANDERS BRABHAM Passed Away in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Cambodia News (Siem Reap): On January 29, 2021, at 00:30 am, a 68-year-old American woman, PAMELA SANDERS BRABHAM, who was retired, was found dead in her room at Apsara Centerpole Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap.

According to the specialist police and the autopsy examination, the victim died of a heart attack.
The body has been taken to keep at Stueng Meanchey pagoda, waiting for the family and the embassy's decision.
RIP and condolences to family and friends.

Pam Brabham lived in SEA and she wrote books for children. She was living in Siem Reap, Cambodia, during the Covid-19 pandemic border lockdown and was waiting impatiently to go off on her travels again.

Condolences to the family. Do we know if they tested her for covid, out of curiosity? I ask because it seems like literally every foreigner death in Cambodia is reported as a heart attack.

She posted on Facebook about being in and out of the hospital for a couple of months with heart issues and under the care of a cardiologist in Cambodia.

It makes you wonder if different/better medical treatment back home could have saved her.
