This night-sky delight will be worth howling about: The full Wolf Moon

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

This night-sky delight will be worth howling about: The full Wolf Moon
Jan. 27, 2021

If the clouds part enough over the next couple nights to see the sky, get out and howl at the moon.

Why? Because the first full moon of 2021 is the Wolf Moon, and howling at it is an expression of readiness to reintegrate with the pack after a period of self-exploration, according to one writer.

That sounds about right for our times.

Cambodian wolf howling in the night
Not delightful, 'scarier than a wolf if you don't know what it is - the first time i heard one it was not far outside my tent.
For a instant of panic i thought it might be a tiger. They have a hoarse "cough" which is not too dissimilar to this.
