Garmin GPS 66s
New Garmin 66s for sale. Bought it NEW a week ago but screen's too small for me. Never even got to use it. Unboxed it and put it aside. Decided to purchase the more costly Montana 700 instead.
Bought it for 425 (Garmin sells it for $399)
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/598455
Asking 250 as I know there is not much demand for it, given that most if not all smartphones are now GPS equipped (albeit Assisted GPS and not true GPS).
Comes with box and all accessories. Loaded with Cambodia map.
Battery life:
Up to 16 hours
Up to 170 hours in expedition mode
Rest of specs on link above.
Meet up at Brown Coffee in Boeung Keng Kang 1 area (near Wat Langka).
Suitable for those who need a truly reliable GPS system for those rural trips and not just a phone's GPS-A one which might or might not work, depending on tower triangulation.
It's a Garmin, built to last.

Re: Garmin GPS 66s
You will find someone, Ergo, i reckon.
A super handy little tool for anyone who gets around, much better than a phone. The features on the new ones must be fab.
And yeah, Garmin are hardy as Hell
(nb, If you use them around water a lot, dampness will of course get inside. The garmin seems to handle that just fine - but do not leave your batteries in when they are stashed at home for long periods)
Good luck. good exploring especially

Re: Garmin GPS 66s
Good thing about this 66s is it uses AA batteries:
BATTERY TYPE
2 AA batteries (not included); NiMH or Lithium recommended
BATTERY LIFE
Up to 16 hours
Up to 170 hours in expedition mode
Rechargeable built-in batteries are too difficult to charge during trips to remote areas.
Just bring 5 or 10 sets of good quality AA batteries and you're all set.

Re: Garmin GPS 66s
Thanks for buying the 66s. I just checked Amazon. Can't find a bike mount for it. I hope you'll find one.
