Steung Treng Villager Caught Trafficking 600 WY Pills
Cambodia News (Stueng Treng): On December 22, 2020, at 11:45 am, the Anti-drug police of Stueng Treng police station, together with Borey Ousvay police, and the park rangers, cracked down on drug trafficking when they arrested a man, in Ousvay village, Steung Treng province.
Lieutenant Phai Reaksmei, the director of the Anti-drug department at Steung Treng police station, said that the suspect was identified as Thong Ron, 32 years old, who lives in Ousvay village. The police confiscated 3 packs of 600 pills of WY weighing 63,76 grams, two swords, and 1 knife.
The police are questioning the suspect in order to learn more about his drug contacts.

It's a good catch, I would hope to hear more successful news like this, but somehow I think like most drugs of this type are going to find there way on to the Phnom Penh streets. That in the end will bring along many problems.

Use of yama/ meth is rife in the provinces too.

Yes, and I think the problems have already started in the provinces - maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that the reports of violence are increasing. The present rate of unemployment and the continuing influx of drugs is not a good mix.
