AFF Suzuki Cup Postponed to 2021
AKP Phnom Penh, December 10, 2020 --
The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup scheduled to begin in November 2020 will be postponed to 2021.
The notification was announced recently by H.E. Lt. Gen. Khiev Samet, Vice President of Football Federation of Cambodia and President of AFF, adding that the delay means to contribute to curbing the spread of COVID-19.
The first priority, continued the AFF president, is health and safety for all, so the suspension of the tournament is a must.
The federation always keeps updated with the development of the new coronavirus situation in the region and the world.
According to H.E. Lt. Gen. Khiev Samet, AFF Suzuki Cup will take place from Dec. 5, 2021 to Jan. 1, 2022.
