Cambodia News, (Kandal): The body of a teenage boy was found floating in the Tonle Bassac River in front of Prek Samrong Pagoda, Prek Samrong Village, Sangkat Takhmao, Takhmao City, Kandal Province, on 8 December 2020.

The boy, Met Kevin, a 16 year old student, living in Takhmao city, went missing on 6 December, but his shoes were found on Prek Samrong Bridge, so the family feared the worst.

The police were called and there was a search for him. His remains were found in the river at 11:30am on 8 December, and according to the post mortem examination the victim died of drowning. The body was handed over to his mother for traditional rites.

I can't be the only one who first thought 'who's Kevin, how did they meet and is Kevin somehow responsible for the boys murder?'

Tragic story and at such a young age.
