Cambodia News, (Kandal province): A suspect was arrested by the police in a case of intentional violence and drug use on November 28, 2020 at 14:30 in Prek Snay village, Prek Koy commune, Saang district, Kandal province. The arrested suspect is Hay Sok Heang, male, 17 years old, ethnic Khmer, occupation Worker, residing in Prek Snay Village.

Police said the victim, Tith Vichet, is a 49-year-old Cambodian factory worker, also living in Prek Snay village.
They said that the suspect was having a verbal argument with the victim's son at 2:30 pm, which is the time of the incident, when the victim came back from work in the factory and saw his son and the suspect were quarreling.


The victim then started arguing with the suspect, and the angry suspect threw a stone at the victim, injuring him, and was then immediately handed over to his father, who took him to the village authorities.

In front of the police, the suspect confessed that "he really threw a stone at the victim." The suspect is currently being held at the Saang District Police Inspectorate to build a case file.
