Man's Body Found on Koh Kong Roadside
Cambodia News, (Koh Kong): Residents reported finding a dead body in front of a fence of a provincial hospital in Village 1, Sangkat Smach Meanchey, Khemarak Phoumint City. With the participation of provincial doctors, the body was examined and autopsied on November 29, 2020.
The deceased has been identified as Yat Vat (aka Chey), a 50-year-old man with mental illness, residing at Wat Tep Nimit (called Wat Thmey). After examination by a team of doctors and specialized forces, it was confirmed that the body had fractures on the left wrist, left leg and bladder. Doctors concluded that the man had been hit by a car.
The body was handed over to Yat Sinan, the man's 58-year-old sister, for traditional rites.
A brutal end to life. RIP.

Re: Man's Body Found on Koh Kong Roadside
There are a few of these guys in KK. (and everywhere) regulars.
wandering slowly along these roads, resting in the parks or on the roadsides just like here ^^
A few of them are on my regular small-charity list.
All pretty non responsive.
I wonder what they think - not only about me and my food offerings, but that too.
A couple have disappeared and i wonder where. I never get an answer about that either.
I don't know why, I love these men. And i miss them personally right now.
I don't know how, but they bring me a little peace in exchange for my offerings. And offerings they are, not really charity at all.
An exercise in humility too, not being able to do a single thing to change their situation. Maybe that is how the peace comes in?
Rest in peace, my Koh Kong brother.
Thank you.
