The country’s prisons director, his wife and four of their family members have tested positive for Covid-19 with the source of their infection unknown, and Phnom Penh’s Aeon Mall I has been temporarily closed following a visit by the director’s wife, the Health Ministry said Sunday morning.

A private international school campus in the capital was also announced closed for two weeks.

The Health Ministry said the 56-year-old woman had cold symptoms for three days and went to Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital on Saturday for a checkup. She was then found to have Covid-19.

She lives in both Siem Reap city’s Chreav commune and Phnom Penh’s Borey Peng Huoth, the ministry said.

Well, it would be quite naive to assume the virus is going round all around the globe except for the Kingdom of Wonder.

But so far it has gone round the KoW pretty mild so it seems.

It's quite possible this is all part of the November 3rd incident and their contact tracers missed a few people. Now it has popped up again with a whole family infected. Good luck finding all their contacts for the last 2 weeks.

I can't help feeling this story in very much in the foothills.

Why are they assuming that she got it (from someone somewhere) and passed it on to her husband and children?
The husband or children may have passed it on to her.

Well, from what my wife has said... this woman was definitely here in Siem Reap recently - including at a local temple.
