Missing Man found Floating in Kampong Chhnang River

Cambodia News, (Kampong Chhnang Province): There was a surprise early this morning when local people found the body of a man floating on the river at the port Thmey Chong Koh in Village 7, Sangkat Khsam, Kampong Chhnang City, at 7:30 am on November 28 2020.

At the beginning, no one knew the identity of the victim, however, by 12 noon today, the victims was identified by family members as someone who had been missing for three days.
Sources from the police in Kampong Chhnang said that the victim is named Yun Mao, 30 years old, resides in Kampong Boeung village. According to the family who came to receive the body, the victim has been missing for 3 days, and his family was searching, but could not find him.

After the autopsy, the authorities did not find any suspicious signs of murder, but they suspect that the cause of death is drowning. Police handed over the body to the family for a traditional funeral ceremony. RIP.
