Policeman Identified as Drug Trafficking Ringleader
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): A 31-year-old man, Hing Tola, a police officer at Sangkat Sras Chok police station, was arrested at 7 pm, on November 25, 2020, for drug trafficking.
The suspect was arrested immediately after 8 suspects, who were being held for questioning, confessed that Hing Tola was the one who coordinated their drug supply. The arrest has been confirmed by the Daun Penh police.
On November 23-24, 2020, 8 suspects were arrested for drug trafficking in Sangkat Sras Chok, Khan Don Penh. The police confiscated drugs (206 small packs and 3 big packs) and drug equipment.

Former Daun Penh Police Chief Gets 5 Years for Drug Trafficking
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On December 23, 2021, the former Deputy Chief of Srah Chak Administrative Police Station, Daun Penh District, was sentenced by Mr. Hong Sokun Vathana, Trial Judge at Phnom Penh Court, to a sentence of five years in prison.
HING TOLA, a 41-year-old former deputy chief of the Srah Chak Administrative Police Station in Daun Penh District, was sentenced to five years in prison on charges of drug use and trafficking 209 packets of drugs, crime committed on November 23, 2020 at 9:15 PM at Railway Group 39, Village 3, Sangkat Srah Chak, Khan Daun Penh.
