This Cambodian Khmer carved stone statue of a male divinity is one of the highlights of the Asian Art sale at Christie’s in Paris on December 10.
Cambodian Khmer carved stone statue of a male divinity, estimate €100,000-150,000 at Christie’s in Paris on December 10.
The finely sculpted figure, 3ft 7in (1.1m),dated to the Angkor Wat, 12th century period, has a provenance to a Belgian collection.
It has an estimate of €100,000-150,000.

I dont understand how they can sell natl treasures vandalized and stolen in colonial times for huge profits. It’s obscene.
