Shouty Homeless Chilean DAVISON ZAVALA with No Passport Arrested for Disturbing People in Siem Reap

Cambodia News (Siem Reap): On November 14, 2020, at 1:45 pm, the police of the investigation and procedure office from the Department of Immigration received a 35-year-old homeless man, DAVISON ZAVALA, a Chilean national, for disturbing the public and having no passport. He said that his passport is with his brother in Kampot, but police were unable to confirm this.

Lieutenant Chea Kimsan, the deputy director of the Siem Reap Immigration Department, said the foreign man arrived in Siem Reap on November 11, 2020, by riding a motorbike, and he had no place to stay. Then at 1 pm, the man went into the Ang Touch guesthouse in Sangkat Svay Dong Kom, where he bought a can of beer and started yelling. He had a cleaver in his hand and threatened the local people. This activity affected the security and public order in Siem Reap.

The Chilean man was detained at Siem Reap police station, waiting to get the health check, and was then sent to the deportation office in Siem Reap to follow the legal action.

Maybe Cambodia should raise the deposit at entry adding another grand. So all those "lost souls" can be sent home when they run out of funds.
