Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): At 9:30am on November 11, 2020 along the corner of Street 108 and Street 51 in Wat Phnom, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh a truck belonging to Electricite du Cambodge (EDC) got caught in some power lines, breaking three power poles due to careless driving.

According to witnesses at the scene, prior to the incident, they saw a crane truck from Electricite du Cambodge (EDC) (did not specify the license plate), which was driving carelessly, causing the power lines to pull three poles down and crash on to the street.
The accident made the whole street fear an electric fire or electric shocks, but fortunately nobody was injured. The local police arrived at the scene and contacted the EDC to turn off the electricity so they could cut the power lines and remove the poles from the road to allow the traffic to resume safely.
