Woman Suspected to be Victim of Drugs in Bus Robbery
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A surprising event occurred at 4:30pm on November 2, 2020, after a bus from Rith Mony Company deposed passengers along Street 118, Sangkat Monorom, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh.
A 40-year-old woman is suspected to be a victim of two Buddhist nuns who drugged her and took her belongings. The exact situation is not clear because the woman is still in Calmette Hospital, but when she alighted from the bus from Siem Reap, witnesses said that she was in a trance and was fainting and falling about on the sidewalk. This is why there is a strong suspicion from locals that the woman was drugged while on the bus; they say that she was sitting with the 'nuns', and the motive seems to have been robbery. The nuns had already disappeared.
Police called for an ambulance to take the victim to Calmette for treatment.

What do nuns even look like here? I'm assuming they mean Buddhist ones? I've seen the old yays in white/ gray tunics who hang around the pagodas doing menial jobs for a meal and a floor to sleep on but I've never really noticed any groups of nuns, or young ones. Any ideas?
Silence, exile, and cunning.
