Monkey and 20Kg Python Released in Mondulkiri Reserve
Cambodia News (Mondulkiri): On October 28, 2020, the officer of the Enviroment Ministry in Mondulkiri collaborated with the forestry administion and the Mondulkiri police, some local people, and WWF workers to release a monkey and a python into Keo Seima protected natural reserve in Mondulkiri.
The monkey had been caught by the local people in Puprey commune, who returned the animal to the conservation team to be released into the forest. The large python, weighing about 20kg, was caught by people in Chamkar Tea village and was also returned to the wildlife conservation team to be released.
