Evolution of Thailand’s most famous ladyboy

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

We first saw Poyd Treechada when she was crowned Miss Tiffany 2004, and her beauty captivated the nation at the time. There had never been a transgender woman as fair as her, and 10 years later she remains one of the most idolized figures in the entertainment industry.

Before the kingdom’s most beautiful transgender woman, Poyd was a little boy in Phuket who knew at 4 she was born to be a woman. She put on a friend’s skirt and was beaten by her mother for it.

She was forced to play football and given typical toys for little boys like robots, but in her closet, Poyd kept a Barbie doll, and it wasn’t long until she came out to her family.

Poyd decided to go through a sex-change operation at 18 and traveled to Pattaya to compete for Miss Tiffany 2004. She won. She then represented Thailand at the Miss International Contest in the same year and won that, creating a frenzy in the kingdom as Poyd was yet the most feminine and beautiful transgender woman they’d ever seen.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I think Nok Yulada much better. Won a LADIES beauty contest, got her in big trouble. Venus Flytrap. Her own very lucrative jewelry shopping channel and now elected to public office in her province. She's featured in the Blue Sky show Ladyboys if I remember right.

Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

Maybe one of the few times I should have taken your advice. :bad:

Frankly, I'm not even sure exactly what I was looking at.

it's true. She was jailed for a bit, something like fraud. And her Dad was a General too, or some high ranking military.

of all the ways to react to the OP I would have expected such a juvenile one from someone other than Francis. For one thing, I don't think there was even the hint of a suggestion that you should undergo the full change surgery. Don't be too worried for them Franky, most of em won't go that far. Probably most don't really want to.
