Young Woman Charged with Torture of her 17-Year-Old Maid
Cambodia News (Kandal): On October 12, 2020, the Department of human trafficking and minor protection of Kandal police station sent a 27-year-old woman, Dang Reaksmey, to court to follow the legal action, after she was charged with torturing her maid. The suspect was questioned by Mr. Ten Sochetra, a deputy prosecutor and the spokesman of Kandal court. The victim was identified as Pat Sorin, a 17-year-old, a maid living at the suspect's house.
On October 12, 2020, the police reported that on June 6, 2020, the victim's auntie named Sok Sreymom, took the victim to work as a maid at the suspect's house in Thmei village, Takmao city, Kandal. The victim was often abused by her boss while she was working. The suspect used a ladle to hit on the victim's head. Sometime, she used a cleaver to attack the victim, causing her to get many injuries on her body. She didn't take the victim to the hospital or give her medicine. She always forced her to work without a break.
On October 8, 2020, the suspect asked the victim to take a bowl, a spoon, and water glass to her, but the victim was a bit slow, so the woman used a ladle to hit on the victim's head, causing her to bleed. The victim went to the toilet and used her shirt to stop the bleeding.
Then on October 9, the girl served up grilled fish, but it wasn't cooked very well. The suspect used a ladle to hit the victim's face, causing her to get wounded. After that, the suspect told the girl to go to buy some fish sauce. The victim left the house and took a motordub to the ABC radio, asking for help to report to her mother and the police.
When they heard the young girl's story, the police collaborated with the Director of the department of women's affairs and department of Social Affairs and went to the ABC radio to question the victim.
The victim was taken to get a physical examination. The suspect came to the police station for questioning and she was charged with the torture of her maid, who is only 17 years old.

Assuming true, what a cunt.
Fucking entitled type gets helper and decides to treat her as sub-human because....because she can.
Incidentally, I wonder why no 'beautiful woman' label in the headline. (She seems to fit the profile, being young-ish, female and not hideously disfigured.) Perhaps even Cambodian reporters realize that mistreating a young domestic worker is so unacceptable as to not qualify. Drunkenly crashing your car into a couple of parked tuk tuks in the small hours is acceptable behaviour.
