Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On October 9, 2020, a 20-year-old man tried to commit suicide by taking pills after his girlfriend didn't go to sleep with him at Lina Angkor guesthouse, in Sangkat Chom Chao 3, Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh. The victim was found passed out in the guesthouse room with his girlfriend's picture beside him and 3 empty strips of drugs.


According to the guesthouse worker, the victim checked in and stayed on the guesthouse's 1st-floor on October 8, 2020. Then at 2 pm, on October 9, the victim didn't check out yet, so the staff went to check his room and saw him having a seizure, fainting, and foaming at the mouth. The guesthouse worker called the police for help.

Another source said that the victim went to the guesthouse and called his girlfriend to come and sleep with him there. When she refused to come over for sexy times, the victim was so upset that he tried to commit suicide by taking pills and tried to hang himself, but couldn't.
The rescue team sent the victim to the hospital for treatment.
