"Thank You" Ring Pull Stuck in a Man's Throat for 2 Years

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On October 8, 2020, Cho Rey Phnom Penh hospital reported that a doctor found a ring pull that had been stuck in a man's throat for 2 years.

The patient, a 25-year-old man, was choking from a beer ring pull saying "thank you" which was stuck in his throat for 2 years.The hospital reported that the specialist doctor did an x-ray and then removed a beer ring pull from the patient's throat.
Since the operation, his condition is improving.

On the up side it's fortunate that he wasn't gay as that could of been a painful relationship.

I've been known to have the occasional beer, but I've never, as far as I know, swallowed any ring pulls before.
